I always go to stores once a week for our whole week stock of groceries. Too bad you can only find three grocery stores nearby and when i say nearby, I mean at least 20 minutes away. I always go the one closer to the market where I look for the freshest fish and vegetables. The other two are kind of far, like you have to walk another 5 minutes to get there. I hate the one that's close, I cannot feel the aircon. I always end up holding back the urge to puke. I thought in the beginning it was under repair but since it has been like that for about 158 years now, I thought they will never ever gonna fix it. They know people will come no matter what, with or without aircon. This is what I hate about monopoly.
If I could make an awesome business for my own, I would put up a stall for fish and vegies just like meat found at Fresh Options where you can buy fresh, clean, meat stored in big closet sized freezers. Because I really don't like it whenever I step my foot on the wet dirty stinky floor of wet market. That every time I go there, I have to list down items and sort them by group so I don't need to go back and forth in case I miss out on something.
Ever since I stopped working, there have been changes on how I budget money and in choosing which items to buy. Now I'm more picky. I look around to see if there are sales and I no longer just fill my cart with items I just love buying at first sight. I check and compare prices before I finally rush them to the cashier for payment. I no longer buy those do not pass my quality control and taste test.
Recently I found snacks that I would definitely buy many times again not only do they pass my taste buds but the kids too.
| Even my two nieces love these...they said these are their new favorites except gardenia, gardenia is by far my favorite bread...yummy! |
Energen is a cereal drink just like nesvita except that energen is way cheaper. Its cereals don't melt and it has less sweet taste. I am not really into sweets. I like salty food more just like that super thin crackers on the photo. It's not literally salty though, it has cheesy milk flavor and super crunchy. Inside you can find I guess 8 or 10 pieces. Sure you cannot ask for more. Pancit shanghai is one of payless products, not a noodle soup, it's more of pancit canton with a twist. Its noodle is like that of lasagna. Really tastes very unique. Gardenia is just wow. Two of my favorites all in one bread. I didn't know dates and walnuts matched perfectly together. If you love panettone, you would definitely love this too.
