On the farm

My husband's family has been into farming ever since. If not for this business, my husband and his 5 other siblings could not have finished school. Working on the farm requires a lot of labor like after a day of work, you could feel every bone and muscle in your body hurting so bad. I could understand why among them, only him had shown interest in farming. From being a helper to his father, now he works on his own. For several years now, he has been planting a two hectares land with rice or corn. But for this season, he decided to plant half hectare of the land with ampalaya. His friend who has lots of experience planting ampalaya had encouraged him to partner with him. They decided to make a deal since it requires so much work and capital which he alone could not possibly handle.

The other one and a half hectares are still planted with rice...the ants would run out of supply but we won't :)

I also would like to try to live on a farm, the only problem being too far from the town and you won't find any neighbor...

Please ignore the clothes...this is what he likes to wear while getting muddy...
