My Imperfect Life: And a happy new year!

It takes a good news to really get inspired huh? I just got a call a bit ago and I suddenly got motivated to update this blog yay! I will let you know what was it about not now but soon. It was not so much though, in fact it was a mixed of good and bad news yet an opportunity I cannot afford to ignore. But now I need to upload pictures of new year's day which my mother has been bugging me to do since day one and what my sister abroad has been longing to see. Don't get too excited, you guys. You will see all the pictures in....3.....2.....1!

Obviously we had a great celebration of new year! Who said we are broke? Xmas and new year are the times of the year when nobody is broke! We cooked bulk of food too good to resist which resulted to me combating terrible indigestion that lasted throughout the evening and the day after. But despite feeling unwell I had joined to celebrate with family. Had my sister come home, we would have been so complete. Anyhow we had an amazing night. We moved out the TV, speakers and karaoke player with songs to sing and dance along to. The kids were the cutest dancers ever! All of us stayed outside and waited for 2013 to come, even the kids did not go to bed until 2012 was over. There were alcohol I think must have been brandy and vodka calling to me to drink them. I would have drunk some vodka If I could but that stupid indigestion got in the way. When the clock struck midnight, the kids blew their tootles out as loud as they could while the boys lit firecrackers and mini fireworks which got the kids half terrified half delighted. Thanks luckiness nobody was hurt. Well what good is a new year without some noise?
