Flashback High School..

  

I can't keep personal stuff long enough. I value sentimental things but because i'm always forgetful, i lose them all the time. Childhood and school photos for instance. They're all gone now. But hey..look what I found! 

I saw this graduation picture on our highschool group facebook page. One of my classmates posted it but among many pictures...i only snatched three that bring back tons of memories. Can you recognize me here? Spot the darkest girl..that's me lolz. Gotta love that hair though. Second to the bottom left...was that sir agkis? I love this teacher, he gave me the highest score in one of our essay tests in physics. Excuse the pride but what seldom happens i never forget lolz. Oh the teacher in red...serious and cranky she used to be even when cracking jokes in between discussions. A joker in serious face is a lot more hilarious, me thinks haha. Crushes..i had long list of..infact i can see five of them in this picture. I was secretly crushing on them, something i never told anyone about not even my friends. I'm discreet like that because i always thought i was too ugly and they were too cute for me. One time one of them complimented i got pretty brown eyes though <insert fireworks here> loloz..ooops sorry my reputation. If i could just bring back time when i could just think about boys, principal, curfew, quizzes, prom. Even one day only to get away from the real world.

I'm not sure whether or not i was in the bottom left picture showing drum and xylo practice. I felt the memories just the same. Those fine trees were captured though..yay for the fine trees!

OMG this trio! A picture really tells a thousand words. One of them is the one i was referring in my previous post..click here and here. Haha I wasn't really sure if my friends knew about that whirlwind past. You wont spill my little secret, will you? Lolz. See..even a very stupid short love story as this deserves a page in this blog. All the people i got along with actually. Even enemies. Whether they like it or hate it.

Attending a mass..

So today marks pagibig fund's 33rd anniversary. All employees were treated free lunch, snacks and even candies! Times like this, I could totally forget my size is getting bigger. I mean who could resist delish beef brocolli? And tasty fish fillet? And crunchy fried chicken? And then for merienda..an oversized clubhouse sandwich? I couldn't. That was the only part i liked though. The mass part was the complete opposite.

You see i don't go to church every sunday..not even once a month..not even inside the office every first friday of the month. Because the company always holds mass during these times. The only times I am forced to attend a mass are during important church occassions. The last one i attended was my friend's son baptism whom i godmothered a year ago. Today is yet another exception. Because today not only is it december's first friday, it is also the company 33rd anniversary and though irrelevant, today being friday the 13th is worth mentioning. Thus, i could not excuse myself.

I have a religion, and it's called catholic. My parents and grand parents passed that thing to me. It's not that i have a thing against being catholic..i just don't believe having a religion has more or less to do with my relationship with God. But you know catholic is the closest to me than many other religions so i just let everything be.

So why the hell i avoid mass you guess? Because i find the whole thing either boring or awkward. I don't know about you but i find the "peace be with you" part and the singing of "our father" song while holding hands part way too awkward. Those parts always make me extra conscious with people near me, even more so those who sit beside me. And how can i forget the communion? When i was young, I got careless the holy chip fell out of my hands even before it went into my mouth. Can you imagine that big embarrassment?

Going back to the present, like i said I was forced to attend the mass. I got caught even before i could escape. Because i delayed getting in the room, by the time i got in, there were only few vacant chairs. The one i occupied was next to one of my lady superiors and to my right was one of my officemates who happen to be a guy i hardly exchange conversation with. Awkwardness. We were about to sing the "our father" when i realized i wore a ring which stone is half the size of my index finger. That's how big it is. I got panicked because as you know, the ring could make my awkwardness times two. I then slowly and secretly took the huge ring off and put it in my pocket.

My awkwardness did not end there. Right before the mass, i grabbed a mirror to check for any eye booger because my eyes are always wet as shit. I noticed my gums and tongue color went noticeably red! Vampire like that. It was due to the lollipops i suckled on an hour ago which my officemate snatched from the giveaways. I swore to god then that i shall not take the communion no matter what. I got saved when noone from our line stood up therefore i was not dragged to take it.

You see, attending a mass is not really my thing, when i was a kid i loathed it when my lola and my parents forced me to go to church because really i never liked the idea of listening to people like priests whose sermons are always based in no other source but the bible. Because the world would get even worse if we are always nice and forgiving..sometimes we gotta teach people some lessons..the hardest way if need be. 

On to other things, i got my dream laptop from my sister. Thank you sis. I couldn't be happier! Now i can make multiple paragraphs and i can post pictures as much as i want.

Now that it’s Christmas season..everyth ing I see online is testing my discipline. I’m speaking of Christmas shopping no less! Online stores are driving me crazy these days. My wall is always bombarded with sale, discounts and promos! And yeah they seem to bother me a lot. Sometimes I ask myself whether having a bpi online account still is a good idea. Because it makes every online transaction quick. How quick? Well I can pay a purchase with just a minute or two. Yes it’s possible, whatever time of the day, while lying in bed, while rolling some booger balls. Wtf my reputation. Anyways, I already mentioned some of the shopping sites I have been checking out for great deals every now and then but I have few latest discoveries to share to you. Because I don’t want the monopoly of going nuts alone over amazing, amazing deals. Thus division of my misery. I’m kidding. The truth is I love you and I want you to get the things that you deserve without the guilt feeling of spending too much. I’m normally sweet like this my gosh. Also, we sure need tons of things like food and presents to give to special people, yes? But really you gotta trust me on these things. I’m such a pro. Okay dudes, for moms out there who like to cook and for those who love to eat..now is the best time to buy those ingredients you need for the much anticipated noche buena. You wouldn’t want to queue for high priced grocery items at the super market few days before Christmas, would you? Don’t just settle with the norms when you have better choices. Here is the secret...do you know that Del Monte has an online store? Ssshh they have. The good thing about buying directly from their website is the advantage of paying less for factory priced goodies. Oh my gosh..I’m telling you there’s not even a single occassion we never use del monte product. From fruit cocktails, spaghetti, macaroni, sweetcorn, green peas, juices, to tomato sauce and many other shit, you guys really hit the jackpot here. Now I’m exaggerating hehe. Don’t expect I will post any link though. I don’t entertain sponsored post here. Just use that google search engine now! What the..only from me you know this thing?! Congratulations lolz..you lazy fingers. Now here’s the second interesting secret..dudes listen to this. I have started shopping clothes, shoes and other products I need for Christmas parties and events. The best part is that I only pay for half the price! As of now..I already spent like 3k..thus 6k worth of brand new stuff! Amazing right? Where else to get these from but SM. Nah we haven’t gone to the mall yet. What I got were prepaid vouchers that I will be redeeming starting December one. I already got like how many…about 10 vouchers and counting! Check SMAC DEALS now! I cannot wait to show you what these items are. Well for the pictures, I have yet to get that much needed laptop. Hoping before this year ends, that dream will be made possible. I am such a sucker for deals. Even food vouchers I almost purchased to maximize value of my money, only the last time I checked, the deal is sold out lolz. I guess no thanks but thanks. Hello, I'm back!

How are you all doing? I know I'm missing out on what..a lot. I was busy with things and being absent for like..I don't even know..I already forgot what took me preoccupied. But don't worry here’s me catching up. Let's size up current events first because I know you can't get enough of tsismis. Later part then, let it be all about my latest interests which I know would be interesting to you too. I'm crossing my left and right index fingers. I'm joking lolz, you will never be bad ghosts to me. You are my friends right? To start off, what do you guys think about the government response to the typhoon victims? Is it really SLOW or..or..fuck that..there is no other word to compare! I can't use FAST because the government did not act any fast! Let me change the question, is delay in government’s efforts acceptable? The extremeness of the storm, the damaged roads/airports, the missing in action of local government because they were..well victims too, and all other excuses we can think of. Hmmm..not acceptable period! Ooops..not acceptable exclamation point!!!! A storm is like a poop that I can always predict! Why the fuck this government of all government which country is a storm-prone country lack preparedness in times like this? Why? This is the government who told us that super typhoon was gonna uproot trees and rip out roofs. They knew all along what’s gonna happen to trees and roofs. So how the hell did they not know those mess were gonna block the roads? Where were those mess supposed to go? Fly away into space? Where is plan B? and C? If I was incharged, I could have snatched ampatuan’s backhoes and placed them, their operators and tons of fuel at safest place. Heck, even ampatuan could bury many bodies faster even before the police could arrive. That’s what you call well preparedness! Tsk. Didn’t they know those areas hit by the typhoon are islets? They should have prepared for the aid to be accessible within the island. If they have to build a tsunamiproof, stormproof, earthquakeproof, fuckproof, whateverproof food storage within the area, they should have done that at any cost! Zero casualty my ass! Now dudes, this whole pacquiao tax thing vs BIR. I’ve heard a lot of people siding with pacquiao on this. I could understand that, you know pinoy’s EQ is above ordinary. Pacquiao brought victory, pride and hope to us so we are in return excuse him which is not doing our country any good. I salute the head of BIR for doing its job! For going after tax evaders whoever the fuck they may be. Even if it is the Pope! Now let’s dig on this issue some more. I saw pacquiao showing IRS tax returns to reporters (documents needed to avoid double taxation) which he said he already submitted to BIR. I was like, the BIR stamped logo..come on manny baby show it! Heck they showed no stamp. I got disappointed. Another thing, this Bob Arum. Did somebody tape his mouth yet? Because he needs to shut up. The moment he said this problem is between BIR and IRS and that the only solution to this issue is for BIR to ask IRS copy of pacquiao’s tax returns, I turned the TV off! It is the responsibility of the tax taxpayer to accomplish copy of his IRS return if he wants to use it for tax reduction. Why would the government act in pacquiao’s behalf? Other taxpayers are doing it, why not pacquiao? Many people said the government should go after the corrupt officials first before pacquiao. Why are we like this? If someone is doing something other than what we want, we are like always suggesting them to focus on other priorities instead? Do we really want them to do things one at a time? BIR is infact already looking into details whether people like napoles are paying the right taxes based on their declared and acknowledged properties. Because BIR can only base their tax computations on declared assets if I’m not mistaken. How could BIR charge tax on property with unknown owner? There is another government unit working on ill-gotten wealth but definitely not BIR. In all fairness to our leaders, they may be slow yes but overall they are doing fairly well. The president and his choice of cabinet secretaries are doing the right thing. The DOJ secretary is good and the ombudsman too. DILG secretary is OA though but aside from that he is good too. BIR head is well.. I like her. She’s intelligent and unbiased. Oh my G..this post is too long now! Because I don’t wanna bore you to death, I will just continue with more next time, ok? I was not rushing with work this afternoon so I sneaked in little time watching youtube with my bb phone, I stumbled upon showtime obviously because vice ganda was in it. So there was this new segment on their show called 'that’s my tomboy' which contestants are all lesbians. It’s very entertaining and very interesting. Showtime grabbed my attention all the more. Like vice, I find gays extra-ordinary. Most of my gay friends are either extra talented or extra humorous. I’m glad showtime started a segment, this time for lesbians because it’s long overdue. It’s about time for people to understand that gays and lesbians are not less than any gender. On a related note, I find one of the weekly final’s Q&A interesting. The contestants were asked to arrange three things according to importance. LOOKS, INTELLIGENCE, SENSE OF HUMOR. Most of them picked intelligence as the most important, sense of humor next and looks last. I was kinda impressed with how they were able to justify their answers. (Infact I like the way lesbians answer a question, they are more sincere, straightforward and totally not exaggerating very unlike sireynas) However I thought they just gave safe and common answer which majority of the people wanted to hear ofcourse. Oh well I'm okay with that but I liked one contestant’s answer better. She said sense of humor is the most important thing followed by intelligence then looks. She said she placed intelligence second because she thought some intelligent people are too weird, geeky and unapproachable, something like that. I liked this answer because it was out of the box at the same time she had a very good point there however I was expecting atleast one from them to be unique enough to go for looks first because that was my answer lolz. Imagine my face when one of the contestants went for looks first! But the smile on my face did not last because she did not justify it convincingly and confidently. Sayang, She is cute pa naman with that Justin Bieber peg. She is actually one of my early favorites. As I said, for me looks would be on my top list, followed by sense of humor and intelligence only third. Why? Because the question is to arrange, not to pick one. I would assume I was already given these three things but I need to arrange because even 100% divided by 3 doesn’t have an exact answer. There has to be one most dominant of all and I would have to say looks. Yes looks. If I was already intelligent, would I want to be more intelligent? NO. I could not handle that. I would want to have more sense of humor instead because I want to have more friends and I want to make people laugh but not too much sense of humor. That I could not handle either. Now, assuming I was already intelligent and already have more sense of humor, what else would I be asking for? Great looks for sure. The greater the better. No limits, as long as there's way to enhance it, ahead I go. Let's face it, human as we are, it's impossible to get enough when it comes to looks enhancement. Infact even holywood stars underwent plastic surgery as there's always gonna be some points we're all gonna feel insecure. Good looks apply not only to human but to everything around us. Anything that is pleasing to the eye attracts more attention and always gives better first impressions. I have issues..

I always avoid going out alone. For lots of reasons. Firstly, I get dizzy too quickly moving a lot. And when I mean dizzy, it is always followed by headache. Secondly, I have no sense of direction. I get lost always. I have trouble finding my way in and out, above all if it requires many left and right turns. Also, I cannot differentiate cars. One time our company driver dropped me off to the bank. When I got out the bank, I could not find which car in the parking lot was our car. I didn’t know what to do. I was standing too long and when finally I reached the one that I thought might be the one, the car’s alarm started to go off because obviously It belonged to someone else! Thirdly, I have trouble getting familiar with people’s faces. I’m not sure whether it’s because I have poor vision. It could be one of the reasons but even with glasses on, I still hardly recognize people. You won't believe it but up to now, I can't remember how many cousins I currently have. I fucking cannot tell them apart. I also cannot tell how am I related to a certain relative. Don't even think about asking me to draw my family tree or I screw up. Not that I don't care, I really do, infact I always ask my mother but typical me would remember one minute, the next I would totally forget. It's never easy for me to memorize the names of my husband's aunts and uncles, how many they are and where their houses are located. I cannot take medine like three times a day. I always take them less than the times required because I forget. Do you think I have early signs of alzheimers or am I just crazy? All these justify why I hate going to social gatherings and family reunions. I don’t want people to think I'm a snob when actually I'm not, I really just can’t recall people and things like most people can. I am such a total outcast as shit. Now you know why I love online shopping. Lolz. Let me shift from being an idiot to being an expert now, I don't wanna hate myself some more that's why. As I was saying, I am an online shopping addict. And that being said I found a new online store! I tried it and so far so good. They offer free shipping nationwide and you can pay thru credit card, online banking and even over the counter remittance. During their clearance sale, I was able to get two pretty watches for just the price of one! I am very familiar with this brand because I bought one worth 700 pesos from lazada before and I did not regret it. The quality was good. You can compare it with other brands with higher price tags. Paying 500 now for two cool watches is such a steal, yes? But being one of the few to get limited time promos has a trick. Do you know that you can get real time notifications by liking any page in facebook then clicking get notifications? If you want to be notified of sale alerts ahead of others, do this. Trust me. I am a sucker for online promos! And all these won’t be possible without an internet connection. Did I already tell you I have unlimited internet connection whenever wherever, 100 all network texts plus a brand new blackberry phone, all for only 550 pesos a month? Because I have. You can’t find anything greater than this right? My only problem so far is phone battery. I need to buy perhaps a power bank to extend my phone battery life because internet sucks battery faster than normal. And..and I run out of stories to tell. Well can I call it a day then? Yes I can. Life oh life!

I was brushing my tongue slowly, because as you know, brushing the tongue takes a lot of patience and concentration. One wrong move and you’re messed up. So while I was concentrating on cleaning my tongue with a tooth brush I remember one article I red on yahoo website about human not originally from earth. Aha rocket science! Whatever. I’m boring so deal with it. To continue, so there is this one rocket scientist saying human were not meant on earth to live. He said there is possibility humans were from other planet or other universe. Just so you know there are I guess facts coming out that our universe, where earth belongs, is not the only universe out there. It is most probably one of the many universes in space. Google it, I am not making stories up. So what made him said that? Well it’s just his theory. He said there are obviously things that are not compatible or does not go well with humans. Disease is one thing. Humans are more prone to sickness than animals which according to him is odd because humans are the most developed species on earth and yet they are the least compatible with environment: harmed by sunlight, with strong dislike for raw foods, etc. Thinking about his theory, I realize what he is trying to say, and that is Earth could perhaps only meant for animals and humans were meant elsewhere! It could be true right? There are a lot of things we have and we know that animals don’t. Oh my, how could we be the aliens? Poor animal kingdom, we invaded them! On a related note, did you happen to see on the internet what a parasitic twin looks like? There is this one baby I saw on youtube with a parasitic twin. Her parasitic twin is another head conjoined on top of her head like a crown. What shocks me is the fact that her parasitic head has a face and has a life of its own! It’s basically another baby, only it has no body at all. The head can blink, yawn, sleep while the other is awake, even suck a pacifier! OMG. The sad part? The baby could survive only by removing the parasitic head. So the doctors had no other choice but to cut off the other head. And the saddest part of all. The baby also died of brain infection one year after the operation. Why am I saying this? I realize that life and our body are two separate things. Given the right elements and composition, a life could exist even without a body that controls it. Who knows, there might be life outside earth. It could be just a tiny particle or it could have no form but can move freely. Or maybe one day, even life could be cultured or processed. And that brings me to my own theory. Not only would natural humans soon be gone but emotions as well. Why you ask? Because we got emotions out of PAIN. We don’t want to be hurt so we protect our body and the people closest to us. And once pain is gone, love is gone. Without pain, we know everyone is safe. We know everyone is fine. No reason to worry. Scary right? Happy advance Halloween!
